Career Cruising is a self-exploration and planning program that helps people of all ages achieve their potential in school, career and life.
Career Cruising is a web based site used in assisting student in grades 7-12 to develop their Educational Development Plan (EDP). This is a portfolio that will grow and changes throughout their academic years at Capac Community Schools. St. Clair County RESA has put career exploration benchmarks in place to work with students beginning in 7th grade up to their senior year. Each student is issued their own personal user name and password.
The O*NETTM team has designed a set of self-directed career exploration/assessment tools to help workers consider and plan career options, preparation, and transitions more effectively. They also are designed for use by students who are exploring the school-to-work transition. The assessment instruments, which are based on a "whole-person" concept, are grouped into three major families:

Preparing and Paying for College
There are many ways to assist with paying for the costs of post secondary training. We offer local scholarships to Capac Community students, colleges through their financial aid departments have scholarships, business and industry, as well as the federal government. It takes time and effort to research and explore options. Begin now. Below are various links regarding funding resources but this is only a few and doing your own research is key.
